The Luckie Puppy is a small, Georgia-based, boutique breeding program dedicated to raising Shih Tzu puppies with intention, care, and respect for the breed.
We believe quality begins long before a puppy goes home. For that reason, we intentionally limit the number of litters we produce each year. This allows us to focus on early development, temperament, health, and thoughtful placement rather than volume.
Our puppies are raised in our home as part of daily life, where they are gently handled, observed, and supported from birth.

Ginger
Ginger is a cherished foundation dam within The Luckie Puppy program. Her rich red coat and soft, expressive eyes are paired with a temperament that is truly exceptional - gentle, intuitive, and deeply affectionate. She is known for her nurturing nature and steady presence, qualities that consistently shine through in her litters. Ginger produces puppies with balanced personalities and strong companionship traits, making her an invaluable part of our carefully curated breeding program. Raised and living in our home, Ginger represents the warmth and intentionality behind every Luckie Puppy.
Roxy
Roxy is a cherished dam within The Luckie Puppy program, admired for her graceful white and brindle coat and exceptionally nurturing nature. Her refined markings and soft expression give her a timeless elegance. Beyond her beauty, Roxy is an extraordinary mother. Her calm, patient temperament and natural maternal instinct create a secure and loving environment for her litters. She passes along affectionate, people-oriented personalities and emotional steadiness - qualities we value deeply within our program. Living in our home as part of our family, Roxy embodies the warmth and intentional care behind every Luckie Puppy. Her devotion, sweetness, and maternal strength make her an invaluable part of our breeding program.
Rye
Rye is our signature blue brindle male - a striking example of refined structure, rich coloration, and exceptional temperament. His rare blue brindle coat features soft, smoky striping that becomes more defined with maturity, giving him a truly distinguished appearance. Rye is known for his calm presence and affectionate nature. He is observant, gentle, and deeply connected to his people. His steady personality is a defining trait within our program, and we are proud to see his balanced temperament reflected in his offspring. As with all of our dogs, Rye lives in our home and is raised with intentional care and daily socialization. He represents the boutique standard of The Luckie Puppy - where temperament, health, and quality are never compromised.
Kirby
Kirby is our signature solid red male - a classic, highly desired Shih Tzu coloring known for its rich warmth and timeless appeal. His deep red coat, expressive eyes, and compact structure create a striking presence both in person and in photographs. Kirby’s personality is as beautiful as his appearance. He is calm, affectionate, and exceptionally people-oriented. his steady temperament and gentle disposition are traits we intentionally preserve within our program. In addition to producing solid red puppies, Kirby has also produced lavender and dobie variations, adding unique diversity to select litters while maintaining our focus on temperament and health. Living in our home as part of our family, Kirby receives daily interaction, structured socialization, and individualized care. He represents the heart of our boutique breeding philosophy - intentional, balanced, and refined.
