Gunner is a sweet, confident little boy with an easygoing personality and a unique coat! He loves to play and explore, but he also settles nicely and enjoys attention from his people.
Gunner appears to have what Shih Tzu breeders commonly refer to as a partial Prapso coat. This means his coat is developing shorter and smoother through the body than the traditional long, dense Shih Tzu coat, while still having longer furnishings in other areas. “Partial Prapso” is an informal breeder term rather than an official coat classification.
For the right family, his coat may actually be a bonus! He should have the wonderful companionship and personality people love about Shih Tzu while likely having a more manageable coat than a traditionally coated Shih Tzu.
Gunner is AKC registered and has been raised in our home as part of our family. Like all of our puppies, he has participated in our age-appropriate handling and temperament evaluations so we can get to know who he is beyond just his adorable face.

Stetson - Available
Stetson is a handsome, happy little boy with a sweet personality and a look all his own. He is playful and curious, enjoys interacting with people, and has been a joy to watch develop.
Stetson appears to have what Shih Tzu breeders commonly call a partial Prapso coat. His body coat is developing shorter and smoother than the traditional long, dense Shih Tzu coat, while he still has longer furnishings in other areas. “Partial Prapso” is an informal breeder term rather than an official coat classification, and it does not mean that he is mixed breed—Stetson is an AKC Shih Tzu.
His unique coat may also mean less intensive coat maintenance as he matures, which could make him a wonderful option for someone who loves the Shih Tzu breed but prefers a more manageable coat. Because puppy coats continue to develop, we cannot guarantee exactly what his adult coat will ultimately look like.
Stetson has been raised right here in our home and has participated in our age-appropriate handling and temperament evaluations. We have had the opportunity to watch his personality develop week by week and get to know him as an individual.
Stetson would be a wonderful choice for a family looking for a loving Shih Tzu companion with a distinctive look, sweet personality, and a little less fluff. ❤️
Beck - Available
Beck is our gentle soul. He's so sweet and affectionate with his littermates and his mama, and he just needed a little extra one-on-one time to build his confidence around new dogs. Since giving him more individual time with our adult dogs, he's absolutely blossomed — he follows our little female Maple around everywhere and is completely comfortable with the whole pack now. He loves being held and being close to you. Beck is going to be such a loyal, loving companion, and he'd do great in a home with or without other dogs.
Update since his 5-week assessment: We're so proud of Beck! After his 5-week evaluation, we gave him some extra one-on-one time with our adult dogs, and he's made huge strides in confidence. He now happily follows our adult female Maple around and is completely at ease with other dogs. His official 6-week assessment is still to come, but we wanted to share this update since it changes what we'd recommend for his ideal home.
