At The Luckie Puppy, we are a small, in-home Shih Tzu breeding program based in Americus, Georgia. Our litters are planned intentionally, raised inside our home from day one, and placed through an application process that prioritizes temperament, family fit, and lifelong support.
We believe how a puppy is raised matters just as much as genetics - and that belief shapes everything we do.
An In-Home Experience
Our puppies are never raised in runs or outbuildings. From birth they are surrounded by the everyday sights, sounds, and rhythms of family life - building the confidence and calmness that make Luckie Puppies such exceptional companions.
The Gentle Start Early Development Program
Every Luckie Puppy begins life in our Gentle Start Early Development Program - a structured approach to early handling, sensory exposure, and trust-building that sets the foundation for a calm, well-adjusted adult dog.
Our Signature Brindle Line
In addition to our standard program, we selectively produce our Signature Brindle Line - a carefully preserved line featuring rare brindle variations you won’t find just anywhere. Availability is limited and placement is selective.
Our Placement Process
Our puppies are placed through a detailed application process. We take time to learn about each family, communicate openly throughout the process, and continue supporting you after your puppy comes home. We do not place on a first-come, first-served basis - the right match matters more than speed.
